Summer's at the door, and it's brought a healthy appetite for rock'n'roll. Anubi is usually associated with electric guitars, handclapping, tambourines and rousing choruses; Perdition Is My Queen EP takes all of the above and makes it acoustic and more psychedelic than ever.
The result sounds like Anton Newcombe's Brian Jonestown Massacre, if it were called Sucate (MI) City Massacre instead. Or The Dandy Warhols with significantly less hairspray and more beer in the van.
